Ambitious initiative by the British Foreign Office: A selection of blogs called Global Conversations with a promising motto: “We want these personal blogs to be a genuine sharing of ideas, so we will try to read the comments you post here and respond to the debate.” The foreign secretary is one of the bloggers (via Demos Greenhouse).
