Norwegians have this strange tradition of reading crime stories during the Easter vacation; well, Penguin has a nice concept going with We Tell Stories — six authors tell stories online inspired by six classics. The first out is Charles Cumming with The 21 Steps, a cute little story almost completely based on luring the reader from location to location in a Google Maps interface. The next stories will be based on other ways of online storytelling. The producers are Six to Start. Maybe it’s telling in this context how I heard of We Tell Stories in the first place: through a link sent to my del.icio.us account by dekcuf. Link-by-link marketing.
